About Live Safe America

Even for those of us who work and live in the quietest neighborhoods, crime has affected the way we think and go about our daily lives. We're all a little more nervous when we leave work late, enter a parking garage, or travel in unfamiliar parts of town.

We all know someone who's bought a security system for their home, an alarm for their car, or a self defense spray for themselves. And we watch our children more carefully.

As a member of Montgomery County's Fire and Rescue Services for over 40 years, and a former reserve police of officer for the D.C. Metropolitan Police department, I'm not used to standing by and just watching things happen. And that is why I want to tell you about Live Safe America's free seminar on how to avoid being a victim of crime.

Typically, we present this seminar at the workplace-giving employers a new way to show their employees that they care. But it's equally suitable for social groups, professional groups, and civic organizations. When you consider how crime has invaded so many areas we once thought safe, everyone in a position of responsibility- employers, building owners and managers, civic leaders should be acting to increase the safety of the people around them.

Live Safe America's personal security/community safety seminar was developed with the help and advice of local law enforcement agencies. It's an informative, interesting, and most of all, practical course that gets the audience involved. In only one hour, it can help anyone deal with the threat of crime and the anxiety that goes with

As part of my research, I've tested dozens of products for the home, car, and personal self defense. You see all kinds of products advertised and sold everywhere-but how do you know which offer real security and which only a false sense of security? I have selected some affordable products that really work-and equally important, I show people how to use them.

We can schedule Live Safe America's seminar at your choice of sites, and we'll gladly answer any questions or send you more information. I hope you and your organization will take advantage of what we have to offer, and will give us a call before someone you know is victimized. There's certainly no time to waste.
